Checking with our registrar, we discovered that some of our NS records were incorrect. This has been corrected and we should no longer be pointing to a ‘dead’ name server in our glue records now.

The changes to the eMail server have been made and tooling is in place to manage blacklisting. Both of the volunteers working on this have checked over our configuration and we should be back online.

There may be a few blips in email service today as two of our volunteers will be working on implementing a blacklist on the backend to cut back on some spam.

This should be in effect by 1430EST and should be a seemless change that won’t affect the majority of our users. If you have email addresses that you want dropped, reach out to our support center and let them know, but understand that the blacklist is a permaban from inbound emails once in place. We do not want to play around with mail server too much.

Project Lifetime --> MFN/FurrIX has been in some sort of operational status since its unofficial start around July 2009. The current and live version officially started around May of 2021 and continues to be operational through 2024. There have been some very close calls over the past year or two, but we are fighting to hang in there!
