Name Server Changes

Due to an ongoing DNS attack, we are currently dropping request involving the country of Brazil on both name servers. Users in those regions will not be able to make use of our name servers until after we see the attack ease up a bit.

eMail Service Restored

I apologize for the outage, none of us seemed to notice the frontend was down due to some SSL issues. Far as I can tell, however, the backend stayed running and everyone should start getting email syncs today. I know myself, I had around 230’ish messages sitting across the inboxes I monitor….hopefully y’all don’t have as much waiting on you.

Going to be moving things into a new network range!

Our request for a /44 from the LIR that we use for our IPv6 allocations was approved, meaning that we are going to spending the next week off and on working on moving all of our gear into our new ranges across both of our physical servers. Some services may go down during this time, but we will be doing our best to be quick with this.

The goal is to get all our gear into our ranges and to be able to let go of the data center provided /48 going forward. Currently the majority of the new /44 is routed to our primary server with the bottom most /46 being routed to our secondary. We also got control of our PTR zones, so that will also be setup soon.
